A cool, grey and squelchy day here chez Casa Reynard, where it's been raining more often than it hasn't been.

Slept well enough - good after three nights of insomnia, but still feeling the deficit. Spent the bulk of the morning doing some more mending. Not just my jeans (almost finished reinforcing the worn patch on the other leg) but a few other things that have been stuck in the queue for a bit.

Had a lovely luncheon of seeded toast, potted turkey, fruit and a :cuppa:

Afternoon was spent prepping a net of red oranges for a batch of marmalade (that's all the outstanding citrus fruit taken care of), and editing the writing I've done these last couple of days.

Anyways, it's time to feed the cat, and then it will be time to feed me.

Sun eventually arrived but too late to raise the temperature of an otherwise largely wet day.
Octopus informed me my fixed rate was about to expire and that their variable currently £5 more than their current fixed was the best offer. I disagreed.
Sainsbury's and Waitrose shopped this evening, just four items from the former and only three from latter as everyone had beaten me to the low priced peas.

Persisting down, here in Wervik

A bit of a drizzle on the way to work this morning but it cleared up to a dry, sunny but blustery day.

More chopping and changing of the bosses at work. One wonders where the management is in all of this.

I went out for a about 25 miles after work as it seemed a nice evening, but I got somewhat wet. Not much heat either. Most unsummerlike.
