I did some fettling this morning and fitted a new rear tyre to my Townsend as well as new brake pads and give it a wash. I was unsure whether to replace the tyre or not as there is still some life left, but I'm probably taking it on a bit of tour soon, and want reliability.

Went out for about 35 breezy miles in the afternoon to check the results of my handiwork. All seems good, but I think I over-inflated the back wheel a little.

Now out for my Sunday live music fix. I've just seen someone order a larger and lime for the first time ever in real life. I'm trying to decide if adding lime to Tennent's would improve it or make it taste even worse!

That's me almost done for today.
Tea has been had - sausage baguettes using the remainder of the pack of sausages from Friday
The overnight bag is by the front door ready for tomorrow
The recycling bin is out front for emptying - hopefully this will be done before I leave for the train station
All that leaves is a hot chocolate in about an hour's time and the remainder of the BTCC to watch.

1st customer of the day called me out for working on a Sunday. weirdest way to strike up a convo with someone you want help from. didn't take long to migrate to racial & spiritual profiling & discussions of avoiding political violence. super weird. sometimes the most innocuous looking ppl are the most surprising & not in a good way
