I did some fettling this morning and fitted a new rear tyre to my Townsend as well as new brake pads and give it a wash. I was unsure whether to replace the tyre or not as there is still some life left, but I'm probably taking it on a bit of tour soon, and want reliability.

Went out for about 35 breezy miles in the afternoon to check the results of my handiwork. All seems good, but I think I over-inflated the back wheel a little.

Now out for my Sunday live music fix. I've just seen someone order a larger and lime for the first time ever in real life. I'm trying to decide if adding lime to Tennent's would improve it or make it taste even worse!

Is it possible to make it worse?

That's me almost done for today.
Tea has been had - sausage baguettes using the remainder of the pack of sausages from Friday
The overnight bag is by the front door ready for tomorrow
The recycling bin is out front for emptying - hopefully this will be done before I leave for the train station
All that leaves is a hot chocolate in about an hour's time and the remainder of the BTCC to watch.

It strikes me that your customer was also doing their particular kind of work on a Sunday. No doubt with special dispensation from God.

I have been feeling very ill for the last two days. I will spare you the details. Tomorrow and Tuesday, I have lots more tests and then a biopsy. After that I have ten days, hopefully, of rest and peace and quiet.

@Reynard could use the trebuchet to send me some Ginger Biscuits please?

I hope you feel better soon.
I sympathise with you in having all of those tests as they can get you down after a while.

Good morning from Suffolk where it's starting to brighten up after a cloudy start.
Coffee has been had while watching a workman start to remove the top layer of the roof of the council owned garages I can see from my bedroom window.
There's a bowl of porridge waiting to be nuked for breakfast and I'll be off to the rail station in about an hour.

I'm expecting to hear from a garage about a part I ordered.

Recycling bin has been emptied, retrieved and put back into its normal spot by the back door. The first thing to go in there was a leaflet left by the council about recycling electrical items.
