In complete contrast to yesterday, it turned into a beautiful day. I was glorious when I was walking home from work. I escaped for 25 miles on the bike. I've got into the habit of doing the same route for after work rides, do I mixed it up a bit tonight and took in some more hills.

Only three days left to work this month.

Wednesday is going to be a chuck the bike in the boot of the car, drive somewhere and have a ride for a couple of hours before coming home - I just don't know where yet. The car's not been used for over 2 weeks and I can't remember if there was enough fuel for the 140 miles to Cambridge & back, 100 miles worth for Diss & back or whether I used up the spare to get to Snetterton a couple of weeks ago. Routes for both destinations have been loaded to the Garmin and I'll see how things go in the morning.

Opera is updating.

Kept it simple tonight, with cheese on toast (with a splash of Worcestershire sauce) and a :cuppa:

Just pulled the bread I baked for a friend's cake day pressie out of the oven. Looks and smells lovely. :hungry: Reminds me of first lockdown, where shop bread was made of unobtanium, and me having bread flour, I kept both her and Casa Reynard in bread. She got me and my bread mentioned on Classic FM's "Reasons to be Cheerful" slot, bless her.
