A nice and slow 10 mile loop into town and back was had this afternoon with the free iced drink had while sat in the sunshine overlooking the North Sea on a cliff top bench. Quite a stiff onshore breeze kept the temperature down today which was most welcome. The slow theme of the day was maintained when I got home with the rest of the afternoon being spent sat in the deck chair out of the breeze and in the shade in the garden.

Sunday is Snetterton.

It's been a scorching sunny day here chez Casa Reynard, without much of a breeze.

Slept well, but just felt so tired and slightly nauseous this morning. This heat is seriously energy-sapping. So had a quiet morning doing some writing whilst keeping an eye / ear on cricket and tennis.

Managed some toast and marmite while watching the Formula E from Berlin.

Most of the afternoon kind of crept by in a dozy haze. I did have the tennis on, but how much of it I watched, I'm not actually sure. I did go out and water all the planters though. Loads of honey bees from the two apiaries in the village to be seen on the tomatoes and lavender which was nice.

Had a snacky early supper, and once the heat of the day was gone (well, that's relative, it was still 22C at 8pm!) I went to Tesco as I was in need of bread, milk, fruit and a few other bits. They were boxing up all the YS stuff for charity when I arrived, but I still managed to get two sliced split tin loaves from the bakery at 38p each and three packs of smoked streaky bacon at £1.02 each. I hadn't intended looking for stickered stuff, but when the opportunity presents itself...

Am now sat in front of the telly, eating ramen and watching Live Aid.

I couldn't help thinking of @Reynard when I saw this...

Yep. That's accurate.

This is also rather accurate, given I currently have a very Dali-esque cat...

Good morning from grey and cloudy Suffolk. Coffee is currently being had.

I'm off to Snetterton in about an hour for the British GTs. With there being not a lot else that I want to see racing today and a 3 hour gap between the end of race 1 and the start of race 2, that will give me plenty of time to bike to either Diss or Thetford to get a little bit of shopping and something for lunch.
