Good morning from Suffolk where it's a cloudy but nicely warm start. Coffee is currently being had with a fresh pack of custard creams being opened for the biscuity accompaniment.
Just got to nuke a small bowl of porridge for breakfast, make the drinks, pack the snacks into the cool bag and then I'm off to Silverstone for a day of classic & historic racing courtesy of the Bentley Drivers Club meeting.

Still a bit breezy here this morning. I've just eaten my breakfast from a rectangular plate.

Seemed to be a different brand of sausages this morning. Isn't life exciting?

I'll get some groceries on the way home, the plans for the rest of the day are as yet, undetermined.

Slept in this morning 10-25 and just finished brekkie.Disgusting i tell you.Well the painting was finished yesterday and two pints put me to sleep.Today is a nothing day.I will get the turbo out i have not done any for a week.So have a good weekend one and all.Thankfully for you all no more painting updates.

Cloudy with sunny spells as opposed to yesterdays cloud for most of the day which resulted in me getting caught in a brief light shower on the return trek from Asda to the office.
Twix ☕ 's this am a Co-op trek for fruit juice, as I quite like that I bought last week (no added sugar), and Aldi price matched chicken breasts and eggs, using a 25p app voucher on the latter.

I waited for ages to use the ATM machine as the woman in front of me spent an age withdrawing a considerable wad of money from several different cards and paying some in to another one.

I'm sure there is a innocent explanation, but you do have to wonder what's she's up to having so many bank accounts. I hope she doesn't get mugged as there's easily a couple of thousand in her handbag.

A very blustery but unexpectedly sunny 30 miles this morning.
This afternoon will be spent watching the racing from Poland and from Arctic Norway, and the shinty on BBC Alba.

Best laid plans were quickly terminated.
The idea for the blustery afternoon was to use up a free bus ticket to go to Wetherby then pay to Leeds, look for a jacket and then pay back to Harrogate direct finishing off using the free ticket home. Went to activate the "valid" ticket on the app only to be told it had expired
Plans quickly changed to an Aldi trek, dropping off the dead sportscam and vacuum sealer and picked up a couple of bags of salad leaves and a bottle of squash.

It's been a warm, breezy and mostly sunny day here chez Casa Reynard.

Slept well, but short of sleep due to a late night trying to alleviate earache / sinus pain. I have unbunged, but my face is a combo of sore and numb. Had a quiet morning. Picked a box of those bullaces I did the jam trial on and just puttered about doing the random stuff that wanted doing.

Spent the afternoon tidying up in the garage. I need to make space to a) stow the trailer and b) drop the cutting deck off the mower and then move the mower out of the way. Am also finding stuff that wants throwing away, so I shall make a pile, and then be doing a tip run next week at some point.

After, went for a nice mooch around the community orchard. Took the parental. We picked greengages and a few early apples, then sat on a bench and snacked on blackberries. There are worse ways of spending a nice hour of an afternoon.

Now sat back watching Welsh Fire v London Spirit. Cat has been fed and supper is about to be served.

Oh yeah, and Madam has been protest peeing again. So had to mop the kitchen floor...

We checked the route beofre leaving and saw M6 closed between junctions 14 & 15 so opted for M1 , A50 and on to M6 at Junction 15 for the last hour of the journey ended up taking 4 and a bit hours for a two and half hour journey making it one of my worst journeys recently , coming back home m6 . m1 and a45 dood to door two and half hours .
