Second cuppa and a slice of toast with peanut butter going down slowly as the tea is too hot

They were talking about donating your dead pet to zoos to help feed the animals on the TV a little while ago. They mentioned a family who donated their dead horse. What they didn't explain was having a horse put down is one expense but having to dispose of the dead horse is another. You can't take it home and bury it in your garden like a cat. My friend had that problem some months ago. He didn't tell me how much it cost but it wasn't cheap.

I worked in Kentucky for a while. Several weeks, fixing a quality problem, felt like a lifetime. I pissed everybody off so they sorted the problem and I could leave them alone.
Fishing, college sports and alcohol all seemed to take precedence over work. That and everybody being somebody's cousin and or ex.
Made North Wales seem quite normal.
I also find I resort to flat roof meteorology first thing in the morning. I've just driven back from Bristol so my weather report is that it's now dry if it was otherwise this morning. There was a single 20 yard shower near Reading with no evident cloud responsible. No idea....Good morning from Suffolk where it's been a cloudy and warm start to the day. There's also been a fair bit of rain first thing judging by the large puddle on the neighbour's shed roof.
