Hercules has an appointment with the Cowboy Doctor later today.
Hopefully it will help clear up a rasping bearing noise, a mysterious electrical fault and include a general run over with an oily rag.

Well a significant rebuild of the motor and so on was necessary.
Extensive surgery of the wallet will follow.

Anyone want to buy a recently serviced Cowboy E-Bike? Excellent condition and a joy to ride.

Litter picking today,I had dropped out due to father in law needing looking after. But I needed some time to myself.Well I did one bag and a bag of wine bottles.Got to say we have some shoot people who do not care about their surroundings.

at least they aren't broken. alcohol gives me headaches. really surprising how some ppl can drink so much

we have a similar problem at our parent's house. first thing I do when I check on it, is pick up trash. even the landscaper is a jerk, they just mow the trash, making smaller pieces & spreading them everywhere

on 1 trip this summer, someone had left a large blue garbage pale full of empties ... what the heck!? :cursing::wacko:

And so it came to pass the iron entered the recycling bin at B&Q. Slight diversion to get there as the A59 works had closed the footway.
Then into Aldi for salad leaves dated 26th and to resolve a shortage of oranges and pork loin.
On the way back into the Co-op as I had convinced myself I had misread the price labels. I had as a pair of chicken breasts were £2.19 and I had a 40p app voucher to use.

This evening's hot chocolate has just been made.

Other than the planned domestics, very little has been done except for a bike ride (which was more of an excuse to catch up on a podcast backlog while out) and to water the plants when I got home. One little annoyance was the puncture picked up on the way home and having to walk a few hundred yards to find a quieter place to fix it - I was on the obstacle course shared path with the A14 traffic thundering past about a yard to my left at the time.

You were lucky. I did a similar thing when my pedal came off but I went down like a sack of spuds hitting the crossbar.

It was probably whacking my bum of the nose of the saddle prevented me from a similar fate, but has left me with a big bruise that is sore to sit on. A lot better today, thankfully.
