A lovely day again. Such a contrast to the past few weeks.

Work finished for the week. I probably should have went for a ride and enjoyed the good weather but I drove to the beach and had a walk and fish and chips as a birthday present to myself!

It is culture night tonight, so I went to some of the events in the town park. Usually, I'd be a volunteer but some sort of row between the different arts councils meant we were not asked for our services this year.

Time to relax now.

What a lovely day.

Gig ticket secured and paid for before the train conductor came round to do the travel ticket check. Then three hours of cycling from Stowmarket to Norwich along the quieter lanes of north Suffolk and south Norfolk in late summer sunshine & warmth. Found a table at the pub with a river view and sat there with lunch and a beer or three watching people paddle boarding, boating or just walking on the riverside path.
