It's been a very mild and rather grey day here chez Casa Reynard, albeit dry after overnight rain.

Slept well enough. Had a morning of random chores. Brought the emptied garden waste bin in, cleared up the firewood that I and the parental have cut up and stashed it in the garage, cleaned the bath and turned a load of ripened tomatoes into a batch of sauce.

After a few more chores, I took myself off for a nice bicycular bimble in the company of Rocky the Hardtail. Did a nice seven mile loop out to Adventurers Drove, cycling through sunset and into dusk. It was bloody lovely. Now sat with a post-ride while watching the early evening news.

8 of us went for a group ride this morning. We did 14 miles and finished up getting back home just after 1 o'clock.

now that daylight savings time on the east coast of the us has ended when clocks moved back one hour, when I get home it is too dark to take Rosie the cat out for a walk. or so I thought. the little bugger likes the dark!

Evening cuppa went down well with a digestive biscuit

Bread making put on hold 24 hours as the non split frozen milk was still rattling.
Evening of finding items sold out, or in the case of Aldi and their cupboard storage boxes maybe never in store. Still did a get a bag of apples for 99p.
Sainsbury's had no unsmoked mackeral or freefrom steak pies and Waitrose no freefrom breaded hake nor the free store paper. Bought what would have been a pack of their overly expensive salmon fillets as their was 25% off.

Lovely supper of vegetable soup, then pan-fried mackerel, a jacket potato and cauliflower & broccoli cheese.

It’s 9.30pm on 6th November and the outside temperature is 16C.
That is almost tropical.
In my childhood November was always cold.

Anyone use "Bike hubs" thing to park their bikes?
Have to go to Canterbury, bit Scroat Central, so I'm about to find out.
