I might add I have gotten five dogs from them over the years, the last two because I saw them on the website. Before that, I saw them in person, I just stopped in to see what was there. All absolute gems, in their own way.

Rescue animals are so rewarding

I did the website for my local branch of CP for nearly 20 years - first hosted on my own account, and then when everything got moved to a centralized website. They have a bigger presence on the Book of Faces though.

My car (March 15 reg*) has finally passed 80,000 miles. In the past 8 days I have covered 742 miles (almost what I'd normally do in a couple of months) at an average of 59mph and 51mpg.

Not a bad day out - warm and mostly sunny and some enjoyable racing. I've also purchased a new coffee mug from the Alex Reade Motorsport shop - it was that or a new jacket and I thought the mug would get more use AND it was £70 cheaper. The new exit from the M25 to the A12 Eastbound has also been opened and it'a 270° anti-clockwise bend and I reckon that with a decent rear wheel drive car you could probably get a good drift round the whole thing ^_^

A quiet evening has been had catching up with the F1 sprint race and qualifying for Sunday's main race. No spoilers except for both  & :laugh:regarding the qualifying.

*Or at least it would be if it didn't have a private plate
