I've just been through Huddersfield and @Illaveago wasn't there, unless the disguise was good. Currently I'm in Holmfirth and they don't appear to be here either.

I'm back home now. Too much rain for my liking.

We didn't get to Wardour Castle or Golden Hill. After I picked up the bike we headed for Wardour Castle only to be thwarted by a closed road. We had gone for miles down a narrow lane only to find a road closed sign, road works. On our way back the road was full of diversion signs. Why couldn't they have said road closed at the start?

I've been thinking about rabbits, and it's a bit of a worry.

If moles leave mole hills, why don't rabbits leave rabbit hills? Are they smuggling the soil away in their trouser legs?

I picked up a Pinarello Angliru today, it is an ally frame with carbon fork. It originally came from Tony Boswell Cycles, 133 Tang Hall Lane York. There is a sticker left on the seat tube.

Shopping has been done, bacon rolls have been consumed and the overnight bag packed ready for Monday's away day.

The bits in between have been filled with reading, radio, snoozing, sneezing, nose blowing, coughing and catching up with some of the coverage from the Macau race weekend.

I think my nicest are the Lumix GH3, which is unrecognizable due to all the cinema rig gear attached to it, a G5 and G-1 as well, and an Olympus Pen EP-2 to round out the M43 Crowd, as well as a Pentax K-10 and K-m for the APS-c size, and a Canon G-10 which replaced my Canon G-9 which died like they all do from electrical failure, and some Canon Vixia camcorders for social stuff and non-YouTube and non semi pro video work. And a Lumix FZ 20, as well. I think many of these came from MPB and Goodwill, though.

don't let me start listing gear. we'll be here all day

I have disdain for gear & barely tolerate more than a thing or two. I just want it to work. that's why phone cameras are so wonderful. simple & they work

Madam Ruby...

Yes, she's a roughly four year old non-pedigree tortie. She was abandoned in a locked, empty house without food or water after her previous owners were evicted, and then passed between several rescues for various reasons before ending up at Ely CP.

Not my photo, this one came from her fosterer. Madam is still hiding (she's upstairs somewhere right now), but mum said she was exploring a bit while I was out shopping. She's eating well, knows where the water bowl is, and has used the tray. We're getting there.
