Just had something to eat , then it's time for my home chemo meds. It's been a long day 1st chemo then off to radiotherapy for a scan and getting marked up for treatment.

Best wishes if you are just starting a block of chemo. Thankfully I finished my latest block of treatment last week and so will be treatment free over Christmas. Last year was blood tests on Christmas eve with chemo in hospital on the 27th, followed by a week of tablets. It was not a great time.

Take care and I hope you are not suffering with major side effects.

Deck repair, construction has been resumed.

Now have all the supports in and theoretically levelled.

Next to come the 4x4 supports. Moving these around I now realise just how heavy wood can be.
Must remember to put the membrane down first.

Still no cycling.

A most enjoyable hour and a half stroll this afternoon, starting in bright sunshine and finishing under cloudy skies during which I managed to catch up with the final outstanding podcast on my downloads and the newly released Sister Ray Davies album.

As I turned onto one bridleway there was a kestrel doing the hovering thing which I slowed down to watch just as it dropped out of the sky onto its prey in the grassy verge before lifting off with what I think was a mouse in its talons. I also discovered that it's difficult to make a fuss of three very friendly dogs with only two hands.

The evening's hot chocolate has already been had and a new toilet rim block cleaner fitted.
