It's no good, I'm sitting here dozing off. So I shall bank the fire and hobble off upstairs to bed.

Good morning all, cold here. Just a slight lightening of the sky. The supermoon is looking super.

The sky is getting lighter, it looks nice and clear. There is a frost .
Georgie has come up to bed and is making his blanket comfy, he's had his breakfast.

I was just thinking that some animals and insects once they have had sex they die. So if they found it boring would that be a relief or would they want their money back?

Steady start to the morning , toast and pills all been had. Will get out at some point once later this morning once it's a bit lighter and a little warmer. Time for another as I look out at the supermoon just behind the trees.

Georgie was standing on the end of the bed looking out of the window. Glass is a strange and useful thing for them. It allows them to keep an eye on the world whilst keeping them safe, warm and dry. It is when they come across mirrors that they get confused. They see a strange cat the other side of the glass which looks a bit like them but is reversed. The other cat seems to be just as curious and approaches the glass. The annoying thing is that the other cat places it's paws just where they do, a crafty paw around the side of the mirror should fix it!
It was thinking back at how Trent our old tom cat was sat carefully studying the door mirror looking at the room the other side of the glass. He would study the reflection and then turn his head round and examine the room behind him. I could see that he was thinking that the other room was exactly the same but reversed. It must have been a bit puzzling for him when I opened the door and he could climb in to find that the room had disappeared.

I've descaled my coffee machine.. Sadly, that means the first couple of caffeine based beverages will taste a bit grotty..
