Morning. I'm awake!
It is dark out but looks wet. Didn't hear or feel any crashing or banging. I can remember that mum's house used to shake during storms. It was a big brick built house but you could feel the effects of the wind hitting it.

Just writing that made me think back to when I was 5. It was during a thunderstorm. Perhaps we didn't know how they were generated but the way I thought and felt doesn't seem much different to how I feel 65 plus years later.

The place Bromsgrove just featured on the TV band made me think. Ah! A grove of broms! What are broms? Just looked it up small type bushes with slender branches with lots of tiny yellow flowers. Do they mean broom?

A belated good morning from an overcast, chilly, breezy and very soggy Suffolk. I don't think the rain has stopped all morning and it appears to be continuing for a while longer, so it's an indoor day by the looks of it.

Coffee has been had and a second will follow once I've had a shower and changed the bedding.
