The place Bromsgrove just featured on the TV band made me think. Ah! A grove of broms! What are broms? Just looked it up small type bushes with slender branches with lots of tiny yellow flowers. Do they mean broom?

Google AI says
The name Bromsgrove
comes from Old English, meaning "Breme's grove," combining the personal name Brēme with grāf (grove or wood). First recorded in the 9th century as Bremesgraf, it refers to a woodland area, possibly supplying wood for salt production in nearby Droitwich

A belated good morning from an overcast, chilly, breezy and very soggy Suffolk. I don't think the rain has stopped all morning and it appears to be continuing for a while longer, so it's an indoor day by the looks of it.

Coffee has been had and a second will follow once I've had a shower and changed the bedding.
