Itching to get back on my bike's
- Location
- Northamptonshire
My working day and week is completed
Given the number of bikes you have, I'd have thought puncture patching was a breeze !
My experience, can't say where, what or how says that magnesium burns spectacularly! An entire development lab reduced to smoking metal. A side issue meant it became a contaminated site. The clean up cost a lot, lot and blew the yellow jacket and clipboard budget
Are new inner tubes that expensive? Unless you want the near weightless ones made of fairies winks and held together by butterfly kisses?

Putting tubes in is fine. I lack the dexterity needed to patch them, probably because I've an incredibly low boredom threshold
Salmon Moqueca for dinner. Now enjoying a nice glass of Miyagikyo single malt whilst listening to Boom radio.

This is why I use the pre glued patches - the only time taken is to find the hole. No applying glue, waiting for it to go off and then holding the patch in place. Just apply and press down for a few seconds.
