Got up this and the sky TV was out due to the weather and at work so went out and the side roads had turned to ice.1 st job when I got here was to drive to the other end of the factory outside on a forklift truck 🥶

We finally have sunshine. It's still not warmed up though.
Puzzled last night why my oldest PVR was a blank screen. Fiddled with the power connection and it woke up. Shows how things have changed as its now the only one with the time showing all the time albeit one number panel has lost its centre -.
Then switching the TV to it no sound. Swopped HDMI connections around and it was plainly something wrong with HDMI3. The definate resolution to such is to a reset and yes sound reoccurred. Just now to log back into everything..

Still too icy here for me to go for a ride.
So instead SWMBO announced that the cactus collection in our hallway needed re-sorting, with new compost, etc. But she's probably infectious so disappeared. I'm now prickled having emptied and tidied the cacti, sorted the stones on the top, added new compost and switched the cacti around a bit with a few others dotted around the house.

Car was still frozen widows at 10.15 so a slight delay before a new shower handset rail was bought from B&Q making use of a £3 voucher
Lidl at Knaresborough visited for another pair of thermal long johns before into the hospital to pick up the currently regular prescription. They hadn't got enough so have an owing slip.
Finally the Co-op for a couple of cotage pies, one for tonight and one in the freezer, also bread for toasting.

Smart TVs would be so much better if they could remember where you were when you switched off. Like dumb TVs used to. Like my radio does. Like the settings for my browser do. Your mum might expect the same dumb simplicity.

I'm currently out for a ride and have picked up a slow puncture.
It's not as bad as it sounds as it happened close to a pub next to a station on my local train line and I'm currently having a lovely pint of Adnams Mosaic in the warm before the train home rather than sort the puncture 😁
