It's been a mild and grey day here chez Casa Reynard, with the odd outbreak of drizzle.
Slept well. I actually dozed off in front of the Sumo highlights from the Tokyo Basho last night and woke up at 3am. Dragged myself to bed, and slept till midday. I have done as little as possible today - just the basic chores of grate, litter trays and firewood, and replaced the pinged lightbulb in the hallway.

Have spent the afternoon watching the snooker and the Arsenal v Villa tie in the ladies' FA Cup.
Fabby day was had yesterday. I wasn't judging but stewarding - essentially being a judge's secretary (keeping track of results & managing the paperwork) and the general dogsbody (keeping the trolley clean, getting the cats in and out of pens etc. My judge had household pets, but as we finished early (I steward for this lady regularly, and we always work well and efficiently together), I swapped to a judge who had a big book and was working without a steward. So I spent a good chunk of the day handling Persians and Exotics, which meant I inhaled a fair bit of cat hair. And then I handled cats for a tutorial / pupil judge assessment, which was interesting.
I also won a lovely prize on the raffle. Now I normally don't enter raffles as I don't drink, and I have to use toiletries and smellies for sensitive skin etc, but this was one of those where you could choose which prizes you put your tickets in for. So I put all my tickets in for a hamper full of cat toys and cat treats - and I won it! I think Madam Boo will have some fun with the contents.
The next show I'm at in three weeks' time, I *am* judging. Should be fun, as I'm heading out of area (Bracknell), and will have cats on my book that I'm not familiar with. Last couple of shows it's all been the same familiar furry faces in household pets.
A quiet evening in front of the TV is planned.
