2 Cats is good for birdlife, The Cat hunts alone but if it too busy watching for potential attack it cannot devote as much time to the hunt, as an owner of multiple moggies they spend more time watching each other (when not asleep)
Keeping them 'well fed' with permanent access to food (dry Kibble) also helps.

Neighbour had two cats that between them dragged a squirrel home. The blood stain on the conservatory paving being a lasting memory of that. Also depends whether they create their own territories.

For some reason thought it was SundayBit of a shock just after 8 when I realised it was Tuesday.

Good morning from Suffolk where it's been yet another grotty start to the day. Very overcast and soggy underfoot again due to more wetness overnight and I can't decide if it's slightly misty or if there's mizzle in the air.

Coffee and a light breakfast have been had after the cooked excesses of the past couple of days. I think the domestics & bedding change can wait until Wednesday.

Second cuppa went down well.

I submitted a return request form to a supplier a month ago and ten minutes ago I got another form from said supplier requesting same info as per my original email 😔

Got fed up with waiting for a break in the dampness so I put on the waterproofs to go shopping on the bike - only for it to stop drizzling as I got to the main road. Still, 12 dry and sweaty miles is better than nothing at the moment and there were even a few patches of blue sky to the north.

Coffee and a doughnut for lunch and then I might go out for another hour IF it stays dry overhead.

I do not have any hopsital appointment this week. Then next week just a dental check up.

It's quite humbling helping my 81 year-old father do something quite basic that I always thought he knew how to do.

It transpires my Mum had always done everything when it came to organising a move and it's a skill he's having to learn quickly.
