It's been a grey and very chilly day here chez Casa Reynard, thanks largely to a brisk and lazy easterly wind.
Slept pretty well for once, although still having issues with my back and butt. Doesn't seem to be quite as bad today for some reason. Leg is less hurty too, but it's all relative. I was warned I would take up to a year to recover fully. Anyways, I did the chores, and I cooked the haggis that had been lurking in the frigo.

Spent the afternoon cutting firewood from the stash of dry lengths that I keep under cover. It's part of my "iron reserve" but as it's been so wet, I've had no choice but to dip into it. Fortunately, the temperature aspect of the forecast is set to improve, so I won't need to be burning quite as much. Which means I can cut the wet stuff and stack it for next winter instead.
Didn't bother putting any bins out for collection in the morning, as there's not enough in any of them. I think it's been at least three weeks since I last put a bin out.
