My wife was saying that a chap called to say that they were putting fibre in and did we want to be connected. I was saying to my wife that I prefer our land line. She said that it is costing £50 p.m. I don't like using my mobile phone. My wife then said that what she doesn't like about a mobile phone is that you have to be specific as to who you call.

Rainy morning given way to a dry of chilly afternoon. Car damage inspected, about 2 weeks before it can be done. Left it with the other party to discuss cost.
Called in at Aldi and Tesco on the way home, slightly long way round but avoids any right turn onto the A59.

My neighbour thanked me when I used engine oil - he said it really improved the appearance (he's got the place up for sale) - The smell only lasted a couple of days!

Came across on my phone the flims clips of Charlie when at home and out and about. That I use to send to Mrs 73 when away or at work. Reminded me how much the two of us got up to when playing around.

On the local news it said that the lady was gardening and had a fire. I assume that it must have been close to a damp concrete slab which exploded.

Slept well enough. A nit of a stressy day here, but everything that has to be done has been done.
