Glorious clear blue sky and sunshine here
A chilly but nice 13 miles pre breakfast ride has been travelled as on granddaughter duties this morning.

First cuppa went down well after a bowl of valve collet shaped cereal that taste like cardboard.

Meanwhile granddaughter is eating toast with hazelnut spread on 😁

Good morning from Suffolk where the early morning mist has been burned off and the sunshine is back.

Coffee has been had while enjoying a lie in and the radio. Looks to be a nice day for a few hours out and about on the bike, just got to decide on where & when making sure that I avoid the busy traffic times & places as it's a home match with a 12:30 kick off for Ipswich Town.

The late afternoon & evening will probably be spent slumped in front of the TV watching the live stream of the IMSA race from Sebring.

Had a direct mailing from the national clowns. Marked up return to sender ready to go into the post box when I go out shorty.

Misty start quickly gave way to ☀️.
Washing hung out twix coffees and after the second Holland & Barratt and M&S involved in a 4 mile 366ft climbing trek.
H&B for low strength (10ug) Vit D tablets and M&S for bananas and bread for toasting. One gift card ran out so use of the second commenced. Annoyingly they have adopted selling bananas by quantity rather than weight.

A nice walk around a local nature reserve has been travelled

I went out for a ride (very short ride) - I can call myself a cyclist again!

Afternoon of bike maintenance, including replacing dead sensor batteries with Lidls finest.

A couple of hours out late morning/early afternoon with a quickish ride up to Grundisburgh & back including a muddy trudge carrying the bike past a road closure for yet more fibre trench bodging. Lovely & sunny, but there isn't half a cold bite to the wind even quite a few miles inland.

Very little has been done since I got home - a shower followed by a mug of coffee and then way too many snacks while half listening to the football on the radio at the same time as half watching the motor racing being streamed on the TV with the sound turned off.

Evening.
It brightened up this morning so I went for a ride this afternoon. I took my Planet X 57 carbon framed bike out for a ride. I haven't ridden it for a while and thought, Ah! It's nice and dry I'll take it for a spin.
The ride went well, nice and easy and smooth riding. Not sure if the wheels have a lot to do with it.
