Second cuppa going down well with a slice of toast and hazelnut spread.

A few days ago I commented that a box of cereals I had opened tasted better than the actual cereal within the box . Well since then I have been trying to think what the cereal actually looked like and it's just popped into my mind they look like valve collets

Murky and predictions of sun this afternoon have given way to ones of rain showers.
Co-Op trek before first coffee. Soup was priced lower on the shelf but still higher than the app was saying. App price quoted at the till and along with chicken breasts £1 worth of app vouchers also used.
Reduced section remained noticeably without anything wheat free.
The Nectar app had discounted iced buns so after a coffee the car ventured to Sainsbury's. That was almost a dead loss as no iced buns nor steak pie.
Thence to Tesco where there was a huge queue for petrol/diesel and a far larger than rucksack friendly shop undertaken including coffee pods (4th one free).

sunny & warmer today. I might cut out early & do the seasonal wheel/tire swap

A weak sun put an appearance in.

Bike "cockpits" tweaked with all existing Garmin or Wahoo mounts removed and multi-purpose Garmin/Wahoo mounts (off Temu) fitted to the stems. Existing in the case of the rarely used hybrid being none so that has precluded a panic next time it is used.

A cool and mostly grey day here chez Casa Reynard after a cold and foggy start. Did see a little bit of sun. Eventually.

Best night's sleep in a fortnight, although it still only amounted to six hours. So a :cuppa: was made and taken back upstairs and the time was spent writing and doing admin. I have finally managed to get the registrar to disgorge an appointment to finish the paperwork - I was given a choice of three, so I picked one and am now waiting to hear back again.

At a more sensible hour, I got up, switched jim jams for day wear and did the chores. Also loaded four more black bags of unneeded clothes into the car along with some more paperbacks, and took them to the clothes bank and book exchange in the village.

Had a lovely luncheon of toast with hummus, some grapes, some crisps and a :cuppa:

While I let my food tamp down, I sorted out another bag of clothes. I swear mum's wardrobe leads to another dimension! That done, it was off into the garden to carry on with some lumberjilling. Brought in two wheelbarrows of ready-to-use firewood (a mix of ash and oak), and cut up one wheelbarrow's worth of green wood and stacked that to dry. Last task was to top up the wood bins in the house.

A quiet evening with some tv (athletics & deadliest catch) is planned. Supper only needs to go into the poppity ping.
