Good morning from Suffolk where there;s occasional bouts of brightness after a grey, damp and misty start to the day. Still damp underfoot after some overnight rain. Coffee has been had.

My timing is a bit out this morning as I'm listening to the radio on catch up so there's odd things like having the 08:30 news at 09:05 which is most confusing. The plan for today is a quiet morning then down into Felixstowe around midday to have a stroll along the prom looking at the classic car run display (which also includes busses, trucks, motorbikes, Sinclair C5s and usually a couple of bikes).

Just read on Autosport that the F1 race has been brought forward three hours due to the possibility of rain/thunderstorms. The TV guide hasn't been updated so I'll just set the tellybox to record the whole day on Sky F1 and fast forward the boring talkie bits and repeats from yesterday.

Sitting in the queue at the tip for 40 mins before i got to the front , i guess its bank holiday madness !
