It's been a grey and chilly day here chez Casa Reynard, although we escaped the rain until tea time.
Slept well - got seven hours. Still not enough, but slowly, it's getting better. Downstairs, feed the cat, take a

back upstairs and do some writing. Good job I checked the tracking on the cat tree - wasn't expecting it till Friday, but it turned up less than 10 mins after my checking. Yikes.
Anyways, did the chores and then built the tree. OK, it's not on the same level quality-wise as the Tigga Towers ones (those can be pushing 4 figures for the more elaborate set-ups), but for 20 quid delivered, I am not complaining. It's nice enough and compact enough to fit in the space I have for it. But rather than use the plastic wall tether, I just plonked a book press on the base plate to hold it steady.
And Madam Boo *LOVES* it! OMG, bless her, she was beside herself. She's spent a fair bit of time in the top bed.
Had a lovely luncheon of a cheese & salad sub, a banana yoghurt and a pot of tea.
I had intended on fettling the strimmer, but I couldn't find the right screwdriver. I have SO many screwdrivers, but can I find one that fits? No. That said, the screws are really tight, so they're currently marinating in GT85.
In the end, I put together a load of stuff for the tip and did a tip run instead. I browsed the bicycles in the sales area, but there was nothing of interest, and prices are still eyewatering - well, for adult bikes at least. They had a nice art deco mantle clock, but on closer inspection, it was too far gone to take on as a project.
A fabby supper of Ma Po tofu, rice, broccoli and edmame beans.
