It's been four seasons in one day here chez Casa Reynard. With a very, very soggy finish.
Sleep was middling at best thanks to a very odd dream (logical at the time, you all know the drill) and lady issues. Not feeling that great, so have had a largely quiet day. Downstairs, fed the cat, re-filled her water dispenser, made myself a

and took it upstairs to do some writing. Had a moment of insight with the novel last night. Made a note of it, and have been putting that into action. It's made a world of difference to the chapter I'm working on, and has helped untangle the tangle. Go me!
Did the chores at a better hour, but tomato picking was scuppered due to a deluge.
Had a lovely luncheon of a hot dog with onions, ketchup and mustard, a packet of crisps and a small pot of tea.
Luncheon used up the last of the posh "hot honey" sub rolls I bought on YS in Tesco. I will not be buying those again. They tasted OK, but the texture was oddly claggy, which meant they weren't pleasant to eat.
Had a quiet afternoon listening to the cricket and writing. Also caught up on a couple of things on i-player. I did manage to find a dry interval, so tomatoes were picked. But when I went to the utility room for potatoes, the heavens opened and soaked me to the skin in the short dash between the garage and the house.
Decided to have a nice girly pamper session and wash my hair before putting dry clothes on. My original supper plan hit a snag when the fish I'd taken out of the freezer hadn't finished defrosting. So I'll cook that tomorrow.
Instead, supper was pasta with tomatoes, basil and ricotta.
A quiet remainder of the evening is planned.
