It's been a pleasantly warm and mostly sunny day here chez Casa Reynard, albeit a rather blustery one. No beans involved LOL!
Slept really well. Downstairs, fed the cat, made a
and took it upstairs for a fairly brief writing session before meeting up with my friend Linda for our weekly dog walk. We had a lovely bimble around the community orchard and set the world to rights. Although our walk was shorter than usual as the dogs got really hot. I said they couldn't be hot dogs, as we had no mustard or onions! 
After, I picked a bag of apples to take home - Wayside and Perfection dessert apples, and Murfitt's Seedling cookers.
Had a lovely luncheon of two slices of toast, one with pate, one with Cheshire cheese, plus a banana and a small pot of tea.
Realised I was going about Henry's identity arse backwards, and decided to investigate the entry criteria for the Goodwood Revival instead. And it's by invitation only - cars need to be of the type that raced at the circuit in period, be historically significant or be incredibly well-documented. Or unique. So I think it's probably best to be vague about Henry, and just have him as a pre-war single-seater based on MG parts, and that raced at Brooklands BITD. As long as he fits the criteria, it'll wash.
Sky went very dark for a while, but we escaped the rain.
Went to the plumbing place in Littleport, and managed to get some parts to replace the broken service valve. The chap in the shop was really helpful, found all the bits for me and ran through what to do. And way cheaper than Screwfix of Jewson. Actually, it's the knowledge and advice that's the most useful.
Stopped off at a favourite foraging spot on the way home, resulting in a whole carrier bag full of walnuts.
A quiet evening has been had catching up on stuff I wanted to watch.
