I have that "Jennifer Juniper" song going round my head now.

In other news, I am much better today, just had three of the roast potatoes that I couldn't manage on Sunday. I'm taking Miss Hebe out shopping today.

Now I have an earworm too! Initially Jennifer Juniper but, having looked out of the window that has segued into " The lock upon my garden gate's a snail, that's what it is "

Wet and windy again but need to get out and collect meds. and any other excuse I can think of to go somewhere. Being confined to the house is very depressing and not even worth getting the trike wet.
Don't mind getting myself wet but the trike lives in the car and I do not like the inside getting wet as the windows get steamed up.
Since it is so wet nearly every day just now I cannot understand how the muck stays on the car unless it gets washed manually.

I've had an email from Mother Mary who is going to pray for me and guarantee me a stress free life and lots of blessings!

Oh me of little faith thinks it might be spam!

Light cloud and a fresh breeze translates as light rain and near gale in practice. Just as well I went out triking yesterday as the rest of the week does not look too good.
Meal Monday today for students at University of Glasgow. They were given time off to go home to get another bag of oatmeal to feed themselves for the next term. Some sources claim all Scottish universities got the same weekend off but from memory this is not the case and Edinburgh for example was the third Monday in February.
I went camping in the snow in Glen Fruin one MM weekend and then hiked to Helensburgh to get the bus back to Glasgow.

What we could do when we were young!

I wish I could still walk as I did in my earlier years.

Got up 1/2 an hour early this morning. Cassie had to be at a vets some distance away by 8:20, so it was a truncated walk, a quick bite for me & a meandering trip along old roads, since the phone wouldn't even bother to give me a route on the motorway. The fog didn't help.

The house is quiet without her, not that she makes much noise.

Tempted to use the same route to pick her up, providing the nurse hasn't carried out her threat to kidnap her.

Quite foggy everywhere but here, it seems.
