Itching to get back on my bike's

And another working day completed
Black bin is kerbside

Had a lovely luncheon of two slices of wholemeal toast, one with duck pate, one with truffle-infused brie, plus a banana, a pear, some raspberries and two :cuppa:

Then made a large pot of minestrone soup and filled up all the wood bins.

Spent the rest of the afternoon working on my archive. Re-printed the stuff from Short Circuit Magazine, then printed out all the short oval articles I downloaded on Sunday. It's well handy that you can edit and crop pdf files in Photoshop.

With that done, I could then update the respective word documents, one on the history of the ex-Howard Cole car that I've been compiling, and the other with meetings, dates and results. Some things that seemed a bit random are now starting to make sense. Will mount, label and file them later.

Now sitting by the fire with a nice :cuppa:

So much for going out on my trike.
Tried to shift the car and battery was completely flat tho' it seemed ok yesterday. Call AA and a very plummy voice fellow appears who used his battery thing to start the engine.
Took it out for a 20 mile run to recharge the battery a bit and stopped at a local garage to get it checked out. Battery health very bad.
Into Oban to a battery/ tyre joint [ not Quickfit] and left with a new battery and £113 less in my bank account.
Hope it is ok tomorrow as off back home on Friday morning.
Knackered and my car was so dirty that the family gave it a going over and it now shines. They even used Henry to clean a bit inside.

Left to right, Jupiter, Moon, Venus. The moon is actually a crescent with it at the bottom. But my phone camera has turned it into a full moon.
