Nice sunny morning with little wind so must get my act together and get out for at least a short trike run.
Interesting sitting here watching the tide running into Loch Etive with lots of mysterious swirls.
The bird life is also different from home with lots of cormorants on a mission flying low over the water going out but higher up and at the edge of the shoreline heading up the loch. A buzzard has just gone past being encouraged to leave the area by some crows.

Grey and damp here .
The Pogs are still busy in the Front which seems to amuse Georgie .
I have checked the food bowls in the Hedgehog houses and something has been eating some of the food . There are a few Hedgehog messages left on our path .

Why they set ever other official holiday ? It's not the job of men in frocks to have any power over our laws or parliament.
But they do and are allowed to have get out's of laws they don't like. Only Iran allows them to have the same amout of power.

Well that's what I had yesterday . I thought I would tackle the curtain pole above the front door. I discovered that the screws and rawl plugs that I searched for the other day didn't come with the pole !
So a trip to Q&B where I was greeted by loads and loads of not what I wanted ! After an age of deciding that's too long , that's too short , I don't need that many , How much! I finally settled on a small pack of pan head screws !
Right ! I marked the holes for the brackets and drilled the holes . They wandered a bit . Drilling into concrete blocks and mortar. Now to fit the brackets . Popped in some plastic rawl plugs . Screws don't fit ! Hole in bracket too small for the screws . I thought they looked close looking at them through the plastic bag they were in . Never mind ! Out with the electric drill. Drilled out the holes in the brackets and elongated the slots . Now to fit the bracket Wrong! The screws turned out to be ones with a drill point tip ! They don't like the plastic rawl plugs . Out with the Dremel. Ground the points back. Fitted one bracket and was about to fit anther but had to elongate the slot . Picked up the drill and the battery went flat !
I gave up!

Popped to Sainsbury for a few, urgent, items for the lunch club.
The turn into Sainsbury's was very greasy. Good job I had my helmet on. Shame they don't make helmets for knees.
Also discovered that the back tyre is a bit soft. Probably contributed to my downfall.
