How do other people cook their chips? In an air fryer or do you have oven chips?

@ with thanks to Reynard for telling I initially posted that in the wrong thread.

I've an air fryer, use it like a small oven tho'. Thing to watch, at least on mine, is that following instructions for a fan oven will give you charcoal.

Oh heck! I think we might change over to Oven Chips!

The helpful neighbour next door might show me his air fryer, and how it works. He is currently busy assisting his mother-in-law to move out of her house and into rented accommodation.

Because I'm lazy, I stick shop bought triple cooked chips in the air fryer - 17 mins at 170°C. No need to add any oil because they've been cooked in dripping.

Nice and sunny most of the day so far but when I went out to check some things in the car it started to snow and is bitterly cold.
I will just finish the job in the house as the workshop is too cold. Sawdust from boring some holes can be caught over the kitchen sink. It is only guide rails for a trike wheel so nothing complicated.
Sun back out and that seems to be the pattern of weather today.

I make kind of oven chips by cutting whole potatoes and giving them a few minutes in the microwave followed eventually by half an hour in the Remoska. Works for me.
I cannot remember when I last peeled potatoes. Just give them a scrub and remove any obvious surface blemishes.

Arrived home from a few days away and my son's picked up Covid again, most likely from work. Bad cough and temperature. Ballox. Only last had it in October. We caught it off him last time.
