Just got my council tax notice and trying to make some sense out of it. Talk about smoke and mirrors.
Water which is nationalised here up a little and also sewage. Some other items which were cheaper have now gone up but they try to make it look less bad but cutting some if the dearer things very little.
One year they slyly tried to shift me into a higher tax band but I noticed that and is the first thing to be checked nowadays.
Upshot is I have to pay an extra £21 per month for 10 months.
Bang goes some of my winnings from Ernie this year. Trouble is I have already spent them.
It could be argued this belongs in “ that place” but it is simply an account of the facts for Argyll & Bute.

... I have lost the playing list, I just assumed I was playing tonight as I play most weeks, but tonight... I wasn't! ☺️
I said I'd still come and take pictures of the game (which need done anyway), but the message was not seen in time (the guy was driving from Falkirk) so I was left hanging.
