Excel has a new party trick today: when I click on a cell it highlights a different cell, usually (but not always) three squares above, just to make sure I don't manage to get too much work done...

Couple of hours riding. Some snow squalls but ground too warm (and wet). A few floods. When it goes sub zero tonight; it’ll be an ice rink on non gritted roads.

A cold and soggy day here chez Casa Reynard. We did have some snow settling earlier, but it's all gone and now the sun is trying to break through the clouds.
Did not sleep well as my brain refused to switch off and the heffalumps are gathering on the horizon. So I'm tired, achy, bloated, a bit queasy and rather grumpy. I have had a quiet morning researching some items that I'm looking to add to the archive. Two are press / promotional photos done for sponsors - I already have different variations of both from their respective shoots in the collection. I think the seller is asking too much, but we shall see. The other isn't a press photo, but I have identified the where and when as I recently acquired an article covering that particular event.
Anyways, it is almost time for luncheon. Perhaps I will feel less bleurgh after I've eaten something.

Just seen a documentary about Kathy Kirby on Talking Pictures TV.
... Ok, I had little idea who she was.
What a sad story that was - All that talent that went to waste because of her husband/manager, who made her sing old fashioned things, when she could have been so much more and who also spent all her money, leaving her with nothing when he died.
After that, others just took advantage of her as well.
Understandably, she became a bit of a recluse in later life.
