My observations at this theatre tell me the idea of saving paper by not printing tickets is negated by the amount of people walking around clutching A4 pages with barcodes printed on them. Why not just show it on your phone like I do?

The cynic in me suspects the lack of tickets has nothing to do with COVID or paper savings and everything to do with saving money.

Calmac say their scanners do not work with bar codes on phones so tickets have to be printed and if home printed of high enough quality for the scsnner.
