Stayed dry the whole day despite the forecast so got the car [ I nearly always think van rather than car} contents more or less sorted out for the different trikes.
I drove mainly vans for years and since the rear seats have been removed it is in practice a van with windows tho' I have got the windows a bit obscured to stop nosey people looking in.
Got an interesting comparison yesterday as I often buy a BLT sandwich after coming off the ferry which has no catering service.
Aldi is usually good but with time being a bit tight I just got the same from Lidl.
No comparison.
There was a whiff of bacon and a lot of lettuce and a tomato had been waved over the top for the Lidl one.
Price was the same in both shops.
Aldi anyway have mucked up their parking but Lidl is good with disabled bays and far better cycle parking. The disadvantage with Lidl is that it is near the Parish Church which has little or no dedicated parking and if a big funeral is on the quite large Lidl car park is full but not with shoppers. Turnover must suffer a bit but you get 3 hours free parking.

Bitsas supper here tonight - last of the soup, pie, clapshot and parsnips, accompanied by some extra steamed veg (pouches of beans, mangetout and sprouting broccoli that I bought on YS).
Scanning through the menu I spotted a dish called " Curry Lababdar " and read it as " Curried Labrador " 😮 ( I blame the dim lighting )
