I knew someone years ago would join a long queue wit a very cheap item and be friendly and chatty with others in the queue whilst fiddling with a £20 note, perhaps dropping it once. When got to the till he would hand over a fiver and when given change would exclaim he had handed over a twenty. When others in the queue backed him up he got change for a £20. Wouldn't work now though.
Damp and breezy here. In a little while I'm off to see a solicitor. It's the first step in the power of attorney journey.
