Got as far as the fishmongers before the front came through with hail. Sheltered for 10 mins and it all went away.
Except the wind which made the trip home, interesting.
Disarmed because the high winds keep triggering one of the other cameras that has part of Mrs Tenkaykev's bush in the frame 🤔😮

Nightmare sort of day.
Looking out first thing it seemed not too bad but once I started out at 0815 conditions were about the worst I have ever experienced apart from winter ice and snow combined with wind.
Wind blowing hard with torrential rain interspersed with hail and sleet at 3C. This meant large puddles of water on the road at random which pulled the steering if at any speed and since viz was bad they were difficult to see in time to take avoiding action. In addition on the single track section traffic from the last ferry in was hammering up the road so constant passing place use.
Then Calmac decided to try to clear the blockage in the boat’s sewage system. This meant we were an hour late but fortunately I had no pressing appointments.
The hospital did phone during this haitus and I got my appointment sorted.
When we got to Oban it had been raining but weather was much better so got nearly all my non perishable food shopping done.
Thought of having a short trike run but decided not to bother which was just as well as it is now raining heavily.

Had a lovely luncheon of a sandwich with Polish sausage & cheese, plus a pear, some strawberries, blueberries and two
