Spent the last hour battling with my new work's laptop - would it connect to my two screens via a dock, nope. After swapping cables about many times, it's finally decided to recognise the screens - I'd robbed two monitor cables from else where, then the 'original' cables decided to work. Grrr.

Down Fuertaventura's A1, which I find funny that the tarmac stops after the cemetery

Stopping for a coffee at 52km and am OK. But covered in dust and volcanic gravel.

A grey and relatively mild day here chez Casa Reynard, with showers due to arrive shortly.

Slept well, and have had a quiet morning editing photos to drop into the article I've been writing. I think that I will not be popular when this moves into the public domain, as the evidence I've collated puts a hole below the waterline of the accepted theory regarding the car. Ooops.

That's what happens when you spot a mistake someone's made in a photo gallery (same car, different livery at supposedly the same meeting) and try to untangle it. Unless, of course, the person who made the mistake is involved in the time travel thread on here.

I think I shall carry on doing much the same kind of thing this afternoon. I've also got to get all the references into numerical order so that they match the text. Might also watch some of the horse racing from Aintree.

Anyways, it is almost time for luncheon.

We now have bright sunshine and pouring rain at the same time.

Yesterday passed the aftermath of an all too common accident.
Dutch tourist pulled out of the junction from Dunbeg on to the main A85. Traffic here tends to be around the 60 mph level. Tourist went on the the wrong side of the road and a collision was inevitable.
Nobody seemed to be seriously injured but there was a pile of debris not yet cleared away.
Perhaps they should just leave it there as a reminder.
