I don't understand how one person can use so many utensils to make something so simple
We're in a remote cottage in a Herefordshire wood with a Clearview log-burning stove. The instructions assured me that the temperature dial would be registering about 400F within about 20 minutes of lighting. It decided to die instead, despite all my frantic knob, flap and slide twiddling. Relit, it has managed to stagger up to 300F after an hour and a half of nerve-wracking attention.
I don't seem to be cut out to be a fearless eco-warrier, despite being in Herefordshire wood.
Keep us posted, don't leave out even the smallest detail. Being a cottage I doubt it has a cupboard under the stairs. How does that make you feel?

First cuppa went down well it had all the right things , correct temperature, correct taste and correct allowance to have an Aldi digestive dunked in it
First cuppa is always the best!
We have an overcast and drizzly morning here so there might be a few more cuppas before I venture out in a few hours when it is due to dry up.
