Tesco's own brand version of chocolate hobnobs are not terribly nice. Too sweet, and with the texture of barn sweepings.
Bought them by mistake thanks to someone having lobbed them into the box of chocolate digestives. I ordinarily wouldn't buy them as I despise hobnobs anyway.
Deciding whether to pitch the packet in the bin, they really are that awful.

I was told to cut a hole in a large plastic box to go over a bowl of food for the Hedgehogs. Apparently you aren't supposed to put the food in their houses ! How do the Hedgehogs know that ?
Who makes up these stupid rules ? Another thing ! The holes you have to make for these enormous Hedgehogs is ridiculous! They are over 5 inches by 5 inches! Did the designer base the size on how large the hole would need to be to play basket ball with them ?

Son no. 2 has had five 'initial selection' interviews this week and has an interview next Wednesday for a graduate mechanical engineer vacancy in Grantham. I don't fully understand the role but he could live with my parents in their spare room upstairs (they have a bungalow-with-a-hole-in-the-middle) which is about 30 minutes away.
Hopefully he'll do well as it's not the most exciting job, or area to live in. He doesn't want to work for a massive firm, nor in a major city, so it'd suit him.

I wonder if the library is open? With all these holidays I never know what is open or when.
Might as well drive over and check.
The Royal Mail row rumbles on and stories emerging of people not attending hospital appointments as they have not got any appointment letters.
Most of the localish appointments I have had are as a result of a phone call from the appropriate department with a confirmation letter following so no excuse there for non attendance. I still have not got the letter about the endoscopy I had some time ago. The appointments office still say they sent it.
