Morning.
It is grey and wet here but it isn't raining at the moment.
I slept for most of yesterday due to the migraine. I watched the Grand Prix but could see it coming on gradually.
I have the Men's Shed this afternoon.

I feel your pain. I'm currently overdue for a migraine so I'm hoping it doesn't crop up while I'm driving later, or the interviews during the next two days.

Dampish looking day but will probably clear up.
Nothing planned but must double check ferry timetables as they keep changing.
I do have a printed booking so it should be ok but the state of our ferry system is pretty dire just now.
There are two smaller boats operating and since they are relatively new should be running smoothly but nothing can be taken for granted.

Where do you leave your legs when not using them for cycling?
I keep them covered so that the awesome power of their paleness can be saved for summer.

DCLane

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
Paul Milne's, Ellis Briggs, Clarke?
Nope, none of these.

Fred Dibnah?
He was from Bolton, Lancashire from memory. Not a Yorkshireman. Although could probably see Yorkshire from the top of the towers he climbed, wistfully hoping he was ...

Looks good now stop teasing.
Not a Kevin Sayles built Woodrup or a Woodrup as frame number is in the wrong place .
I really hope you're wrong there ...

Woodrup, late 80s. At least I know I've got the right county....

Virtual cake to @deptfordmarmoset Hopefully, unless @biggs682 is correct and it's something else hiding under Woodrup decals.

I'll get in contact with Woodrup to work out what it actually is, but I'm guessing you're right about the age given the groupset was launched in 1989.

And @Gravity Aided - after spraying the shifter very liberally with a combination of degreaser and penetrating fluid last night it's now working this morning.

Described as an 18" frame, with slightly off photos, I took a punt and hoped it wasn't. They were wrong; it's a 21" / 54cm frame so just right for me.

The wheelset doesn't match, although they're both Mavic's (Module 3 grey front / MA3 chrome rear) with 105 hubs (7 front/8 rear) and the saddle's a bouncy gel-type one. But otherwise a lot cleaner under the dirt now I've put it together and given it a good clean, although the wheels need more cleaning. It'll need a good going-over, but everything now moves, plus chain/bar tape/cables and a new decal for the left-hand side of the seat tube. The tyres look new with the centre line extra bits but appear to have been on there a long time, suggesting it's been stood. Inflated they have a noticeable flat spot, so will be replaced.
