found a bunch of 1.25" to 2" hitch adapters in my basement & ordered another. too bad U-Haul no longer sells a 1.25" hitch for my brand/model auto. they are installing a 2" hitch tomorrow. hoping to be back up & running with my hitch rack(s) next week. if I don't like using adapters on my racks, I'll just get at least 1 new 2" rack that doesn't require an adapter

I have been reading about Borage and how it is a dynamic accumulator. Instead of making a very pongy "tea" by soaking the leaves of different plants, gardeners can add the borage leaves to compost/soil in and around plants.

Bees, birds and butterflies also like borage flowers, and it is, in my opinion, a very pretty plant.

Wow they are huge! Didn't have those when I lived there, but we did have british bobbies and red post boxes

I’ve got a terrible habit of overdressing for the initial temperatures and then end up cooking within a few miles. I never seem to learn.

day three and final day of a good house clean.Our daughter is house sitting when we go to America.So she does not clean up i have knocked the living daylights out of it.The shower got special treatment,some soap scum on grout inside that looks cleaner,doors cleaned a really good polish,but the hardest was the silicone on the tray,shocking so an old trick,bleach brushed over it,then rolled up toilet paper (unused) that then soaked in bleach then leave for an hour,it lifts it but does not clear it.so i did that yesterday and today also,i am going up soon to see if more has been removed.But at the moment i am listening to Jim Croce what a singer love his voice and music.

It's a warm and sunny day here chez Casa Reynard. Bit of a brisk breeze out of the shelter of the trees.

I slept well and spent the morning puttering about in the garden. Have also laundered the jeans & fleece I wore to sort out the mower as they were very grubby.

This afternoon will be spent mostly doing paperwork, although a girly pamper session is also on the agenda.

It is almost time for luncheon.

Having trouble keeping my eyes open after lunch. Still, I've managed to pant a rhododendron.

DiL dog had to be put down last night, he was 14 & as sweet natured as any. Probably down to him that we bought our pup.
