Which one ? The big mound or the barrow? Basically they are both void of anything. The barrow originally had human bones in it but has been cleared out . The big mound has had several excavations don't on it but have found nothing . They discovered that it had been constructed in a series of steps, a bit like the stepped pyramids.

I climbed these, you can see St. Louis from there.

Earlyish bike ride for me today. Well, 8:15 which is early for me on a weekend. It was nice.

A most relaxing day. The racing at Snetterton wasn't too bad despite a few small grids, it wasn't too cold in the breeze either and the radio commentary from Monaco was quite entertaining. A quick shower & shave once home was followed by bacon rolls and putting the recycling bin out ready for the morning.

I'd set my BT box up so I could watch the Indy 500 on a timed delay recording. I now have the problem that it's been red flagged for the 2nd time with 7 laps to go and my recording has only 10 minutes left so I've missed the end of the race :banghead::banghead::banghead:

TBH, you didn't miss much. There was only one lap of racing after that.

They've just gone green with 4 laps to go...

And straight to yellow with 1 minute left on the recording
