My brother bought a bike from Alpkit in Hathersage, all titanium and Pinion gearing, and he's now just riding to Santiago de Compostela with his wife. Still about 300km for them to finish the journey. So visiting Alpkit in Hathersage can be fun but rarely cheap.

Though thinking back, sister in law also bought her titanium bike there as well. So my family is keeping Hathersage in business.

For a little bit this afternoon it was quite warm - until I got away from the shelter of the wind.

On the bright side the weekend has started for me and I'm off to Leeds on Saturday to see Pozi at The Headrow.

Keep an eye open, I'll be in that area Saturday as well. I'll not be there to see Pozi though.

I’ve been swimming at the early morning sessions today and yesterday and will go again tomorrow.

so jealous. I took up swimming for a cpl years. after getting out of the pool, I had the most amazingly healthy feeling, plus pride. good on you!

A few years ago, when I visited Alpkit, I was one swipe away from a Sonder Camino 😭

This time, I doubt that there's enough room in the car for it 😕
