I've got a real hankering for a tomato sauce sandwich.

Its better without the bread, just add chips.

Had a lovely luncheon of two Warburtons sandwich thins, one with chicken, lettuce, tomato & cucumber, and the other with cheese, lettuce, tomato & cucumber. Plus an apple, an orange, some blueberries and two :cuppa:

After, I chopped up a load of oranges in preparation for tomorrow's marmalade making. I liked my experimental batch of orange & strawberry , so I decided to make some more.

Then it was out on the mower to cut around the bank of the drain that borders two sides of my garden. Or at least make a start on it. The drainage board are supposed to keep it in check, but they never do. My arms are jingle-jangle-tingling from the nettles. I've done about a quarter of one side. Slowly does it, I guess.

Just chilling with a :cuppa:

The wind has blown the bucket over. Time to shut the windows and lower the shutters.

I could murder something really nice to eat ... not the usual midweek fare. It would probably be rabbit stew i had in Cyprus once, cost next to nothing but never forgotten it.

We used to have rabbit regularly as my father had a 410 shotgun and snares were also used. We had lots of other things got with the gun but better not mention that.

I love rabbit, take it over boring old chicken any day of the week. Not sure what those 'other things' were but bet it was more interesting than most of the tasteless meat we eat in the UK?

Just cycled into one of those retractable dog leads  Never saw it, not cut but a sore imprint on my arm. Before that knocked another second off my 4th best but this time no proclamation by Strava. Was one of those ebiked shopping trips definitely not worth doing by car, grand spend of £3.25 and that was only because I have temporarily run out of M&S gift vouchers.
