Very mixed weather. Went out by car and there was a torrential shower which lasted about 2 minutes as tho’ a hose had been turned on. This followed by bright sunshine.
Not the sort of day to take the trike out. I don’t mind getting wet myself but I prefer the trike to stay dry as it lives in my car when not in use.
Nothing of note done apart from making a batch of pancakes.
Trouble is somebody seems to have eaten half of them.

I hate it when pancakes do that

Did CC have another wobble just now? Maybe Shaun forgot to put 50p in the meter...

Anyways, had a fabulous supper of tomahawk steak (medium rare, closer to the latter), a jacket potato with the pan juices, a tomato salad and steamed kale with garlic butter. :hungry:

The girls had a wee bit of the steak too. There's still loads left, which will do for a few more meals and a sandwich or three...

Another slow day to finish off the break from work. Went shopping for food for the next few days, got home and did some bike fettling followed by a test ride. Home again and fixed a puncture that I noted on the bike I used yesterday (it was OK when I got home) and found this thing (Elephant Hawk-Moth apparently) in the back garden
Elephant Hawk-moth (7).jpg

The backpack is packed with fresh uniform to re-stock my locker at work and I'm about to have a mug of hot chocolate.

50p! When did you last put a coin in a meter. Last one I saw was taking £1 coins.
