Watched a programme on the Beeb last night about a Beekeeper. It was very interesting. They were trying to prevent a swarm from clearing off but keeping them local to their previous home .
My daughter had a swarm settle in her front garden a couple of weeks ago . She managed to get a local Beekeeper to come and collect them . He offered to pay for them .

Currently sunshine but thundery showers forecast and getting more likely as the day goes on. Ominous sky out to the west.

Corran Ferry is broken down again. Not Calmac but Highland Council. The main ferry has been off for ages for repair and this is an ancient standby vessel so worn out.

Today's FB fight is about cars blocking dropped kerbs for wheelchairs. Got so bad a Mod stepped in and shut down comments.

Warm, humid and occasionally sunny here chez Casa Reynard. We look to have had a good bit of rain here overnight, so the right decision not to water anything yesterday.

Slept so-so. Have had a quiet morning working on my archive. I will need to go erranding later as I am want of milk, bread & potatoes.

Got some Tesco vouchers in the post this morning.

Blue recycling wheelie bin has been emptied and returned to its place.

It is almost time for luncheon.

Our motor car is poorly.Gears wont engage cleanly. Its a battle and a fight to get them in.So today i was asked to go shopping,a haversack on my back walking.I was surprised to see security tags on razor blades.Ok i could understand the ones price £17 and £24 a pack, but £3-50 is a bit much.I never thought of checking the Spirits section what with the cost of living £30 and upwards bottle. What a carry on.
