I "broke" one of the ticket machines at the local station earlier this year. During the tailend of the morning rush hour.
I have this odd effect on electronic equipment at times. Most notably in supermarkets, where the PDQ machines are put/knocked out of service by simply putting my hand near them. Most in one go was 16 machines in one go, the local Tesco earlier this year. Only cash payments possible after I'd been in.

Worse than me then and in the Oban Lidl they now rush to open a till when they see me coming. In the early days of such machines we nearly closed down an Asda in Aberdeen.

Where'd you locate it?

Under a blister pack of Ibuprofen that was still lying beside my chair. It must have rebounded off the sofa during its downwards escape.

(I first wrote ricocheted instead of rebounded but it looks neither English nor French with that silent t in the middle. French, of course, drops the t in the past tense - ricoché - whereas the silent t seems to stand as a mark of its Frenchness in English. There can't be many words that end -cheted that are pronounced -shade.)

Wet and windy. Typical July weather really.
Tiree music festival cancelled due to weather but Tiree is on a different planet. When people from Tiree come to the mainland they all walk with a slant forwards as so used to pushing against the wind.
Need to continue unpacking and trying to get more into my freezer which is smaller than the one it replaced but I have not got used to this difference yet and buy too much.
Carrots from Aldi are more water than carrot I think and will need to be blanched at least then frozen as they will not keep any longer. Beginning to go mouldy already. Fortunately not expensive if they have to be junked but I hate waste.

I'm doing the final feedback and re-sit revision support session today. So far attendance has been:

Monday - none. The one student booked didn't attend but has re-booked for today.
Thursday - none.
Today .... ? I'll see who turns up. Edited: none in the first hour. Waiting for the re-scheduled student from Monday. Who didn't turn up either.

That's out of 125 students, three of whom 'forgot' about the first of two assessments so won't graduate plus three who were ill for one of the two assessment submission points. So, at least six who may benefit from revision support and I'm on holiday shortly so won't be holding further sessions.

Good morning all from a sunny & warm Suffolk. First cuppa of the day was a good one.

Looks like I picked the best day of the week to have a day out so, after breakfast, a layer of P20 sunscreen will be applied to the exposed parts and its off to south Norfolk/north Suffolk for a ride in the countryside and lunch - hopefully at a pub in Diss with outside seating that overlooks the Mere.
