Anyway the reason I had sought to delay the parcel was I had an appointment for my annual blood sucking aka medical preliminary which hopefully will go no further.

As I needed to go into town on a work related matter some time this week it made for a good day to work in the office.

With the Great Yorkshire Show on Tuesday-Friday with its associated traffic chaos I had expected the office to be pretty full but it was pretty deserted.

Just 20 mins time lost for the nurse to unsuccessfully try my left arm twice for the red stuff and more successfully with my right arm. At least she found my pulse. That was a bit worrying a few years back when they couldn't!

this is how our Son carries his Girlfriend's bike in the back of my late Father's 1994 Camry

but I just bought him a trunk mounted bike rack for his new car! which he can certainly use on this car, as well ... ugh. I'm also so impressed with how clean he keeps his car. ugh. that's it, I'm done, the next one is all in his name, I'm out

whilst decorating today.

so how does today look, now?

Considered going out on the trike but then the rain came on so cancelled that idea.

Spent some productive time searching and eventually finding some bike bits I needed but they had gone into hiding.

Modified a couple of walking poles to see if they work to improve my walking by keeping me straight up rather than stooped which I think is a habit a lot of ancients get into.

I use a Leki walking pole for things like ambling round the garden centre My right knee hip is a bit dodgy On longer walks I use two poles.I did try an adjustable walking stick but I found it for some reason gave less support It May be that the way you hold a walking pole and the hight used is different to that of the stick. I really find them supportive

The odd thing I have no problems cycling except for standing on the pedals when hill climbing

Good luck
