A still, damp morning. Typical West Highland really.
Last year I was out early morning on a trike in sunshine but this year the weather pattern seems to have changed and mornings are mostly damp with sun only appearing about midday.
Somebody on a tour is pleading on FB for 3 nights B&B for less than £180 total. Told generally to treble that at least or bring a tent and try the campsite a mile out of town.
Calmac are putting out text messages that their timetable still assumes the Tiree music festival went ahead as it is too complicated to change back to the normal one.
Must go and look at some mouldy carrots I got from Lidl but I think they are for the compost heap.

Only yesterday evening I was saying to MrsPete there was more to this story than meets the eye!

It feels more like a distraction than a news story to me.

Anyhow, the lift has been re-repaired and now acknowledges the existence of my floor. And the air extractor in the bathroom has been reset and is now back on. Are we allowed to say ''Good work, Council?''

It's Prime day. Guess who has got a bargain, not me, the cat's. £31.50 for 120 packets of Felix AGAIL is the cheapest I've seen in ages. Currently paying about £38 from Zoo Plus. Well that should now see them till at least the end of August in food stocks - although I'll be running out of garage space.
